Lulworth Cove Wedding

We cannot thank Charlotte enough. Charlotte has been a constant source of positivity and support during the chaos of planning a 2020 wedding. Though our plans changed from a large wedding to a small and intimate ceremony, Charlotte has remained flexible, helpful and creative throughout the entire process. Charlotte worked miracles at our small wedding in July 2020 – seamlessly managing to be everywhere at once to capture the most beautiful natural photographs of all our guests. She made us feel at complete ease as she took our photographs, something that I never imagined could be possible. We could not be happier with the beautiful photos that Charlotte has taken… photos that she was able to share with us with truly astonishing speed. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Who said that Micro Weddings cannot be absolutely fabulous, amazing, special, intimate and the most magical day?! Like many couples who planned to get married in 2020, Amy and James had been planning their special wedding day for a couple of years, a Summer wedding in a beautiful venue, Lulworth Castle. We luckily got to meet earlier in the year to chat through all their plans when they came for a venue visit with their family. We walked through all the timings, what they had envisioned for their style, and all the locations we were going to head to for their photographs.

Sadly like many couples, the news of Coronavirus, but a spin on the planning and threw wedding planning up in the air and into overdrive! With a few plans and ideas and changes along the way, Amy and James decided after lockdown had eased they were going to get married. They where going to elope with their closest family to Dorset.

The day couldn’t have been any more perfect! Whilst it wasn’t what Amy and James had originally planned for their day, it was soooo incredibly special and memorable. Micro weddings definitely don’t need to feel like a compromise. Although everyone was socially distanced, the whole day felt full of lots of love and laughter, and most importantly a celebration of Amy and James marriage.

One thing that they both knew they definitely wanted was to have some time to have some photographs on the grounds but also head down to Lulworth Cove, just a short drive away to have some photographs of the two of them!

Here are just a few of my favourites from their wedding day.
