Hannah and Dan’s wedding day at Northbrook Park was one of those days that photographers quietly hope for. Beautiful weather, relaxed energy, and a couple who were completely present in the day and ready to soak every moment of it all in.
With sunshine from morning through to golden hour, their day unfolded effortlessly across one of Surrey’s most elegant wedding venues, surrounded by manicured gardens, stunning architecture and that unmistakable calm Northbrook Park is known for.
As a recommended wedding photographer at Northbrook Park, it’s always such a pleasure to head back to the venue and Hannah and Dan’s wedding was a perfect example of why this venue works so beautifully for modern, romantic celebrations.
Set just outside Farnham in Surrey, Northbrook Park is a private country estate that offers an incredible blend of timeless elegance and relaxed luxury. The venue is best known for its stunning orangery, grand house, and immaculate gardens, all of which photograph beautifully in every season.
One of the things I love most about Northbrook Park is how seamlessly the day flows. From bridal prep through to the ceremony, drinks reception and evening celebrations, everything feels close, which makes a huge difference to how couples experience their wedding day.
Hannah and Dan’s day was full of genuine emotion and relaxed moments. We were lucky enough to enjoy sunshine well into the evening, which allowed us to adapt the timeline and make the most of the light, something Northbrook Park is particularly perfect for. Their couple portraits during golden hour were calm, romantic and completely natural, allowing them to step away briefly and enjoy a quiet moment together before rejoining their guests for the dancing.
Hannah had mentioned early on that she loved light, airy imagery and a few key spots she would really love to have their group photographs and couple portraits. Northbrook Park delivers on all of these fronts, of course being aesthetically beautifully, from the soft interiors to the stunning outdoor spaces throughout the grounds.
t was also a pleasure to work alongside James from Ground Films, whose calm presence and storytelling approach complemented the day perfectly. Collaborating with suppliers who work so seamlessly together always elevates the experience for couples, and Hannah and Dan were able to fully relax knowing everything was in safe hands.
