Lusty Glaze Wedding

Hi, I’m Charlotte

I’m thrilled that you’ve found your way to my little corner of the internet. Let’s start with a quick introduction – I’m Charlotte, a Dorset based photographer in the picturesque South of England.

In 2018, under the golden rays of a September sun, I experienced one of the most beautiful days of my life. My husband and I, childhood sweethearts, tied the knot on the beach after a decade of being together. I wore heels for about ten minutes before throwing them off and opting for barefoot for the rest of the day. Our wedding was an absolute dream – a special location, cherished friends and family, yummy drink and food, captivating music, and the most magical moments I will never forget.

So, I am here to say, I totally know what you are going through at the moment – planning, making decisions, making guest lists, creating spreadsheets – I am here to help in anyway I can!

To sum me up, I’m an unapologetic romantic at heart. Our little family wouldn’t be complete without our beautiful baby girl, Grace, who made her wonderful arrival into our lives in 2022 – and of course Denzel, our OG and awesome pup. If I am not at a wedding at the weekend you’ll find me having walks on the beach and coffee in hand, flipping through travel magazines, and getting lost in the world of wedding and lifestyle blogs. I have a slight stationery and notebook addiction. Any excuse to hang out at the beach or chase the sunset. I have a love for the Balearic Islands where we love to holiday and still have a long list of incredible places we cannot wait to visit one day.

My heart belongs both to travelling and seeing the world – but also being rooted in my home town of Dorset, I am a proper at home girlie, where my husband and I have been renovating a home we bought in 2020. An unexpected adventure, just completing just a couple days before the first lockdown. We undertook the renovation of a house that hadn’t seen change since the 1940s, complete with a garden that had grown wild for over 35 years. When I’m not capturing moments through my lens, or down at the beach, you’ll often find me covered in paint, or designing our next home project.

A Love Story Behind the Lens

My journey into wedding photography began in 2012, but by the time I walked down the aisle as a bride, I had already spent six years capturing others’ love stories. It was a love affair with this remarkable industry that led me to where I am today.

For me, the essence of what I do lies in being a storyteller. I get to narrate the extraordinary love stories of couples on their special day. I dive deep into your world, your quirks, your laughter, and your unique love story. By the time your wedding day arrives, I’m not just a photographer – I’m a friend…your wedding best friend! I’m there to capture the most authentic moments, and I’m privileged to call it my job.

I’m the one you can lean on, confide in, and share your joy with. I’m there to grab your flowers, help you with your button hole, find a relative during the drinks reception, help fluff your dress or remove your veil, be your walking clock and weather woman, all whilst with my camera in hand, capturing your day. It’s this friendship that allows me to capture the raw, natural moments of your love story, and it’s one of the many reasons why I adore what I do.
