2025 Wedding Season Round Up

Wrapping up this years wedding season and what a year it has been. My philosophy has always been that your wedding is the beginning of your greatest adventure, and it deserves to be captured with honesty and heart.

This years weddings and couples have been beyond beautiful, not just in style but in the vibe, the personal touches, and the special moments that made each day completely unique.

It has also been a huge milestone moment for me in my business as I celebrated 10 years since leaving my corporate job to pursue my dream of running my business full time.

A Look Back at a Truly Memorable Season

This year brought so many incredible celebrations. From elegant country houses bathed in golden evening light, to relaxed garden weddings filled with laughter, to heartfelt ceremonies where families came together in the most meaningful way. Every single wedding reminded me why I love what I do.

But beyond the stunning locations and thoughtful details, what really stood out this year was how present couples were. There was a shift toward slowing down, choosing quality time, and embracing the day with real intention. It made every celebration feel even more genuine and emotional.

I am more than just your photographer. I am here to support you in the lead up, to be your expert third wheel on the day, and to blend into your world so your experience feels effortless from start to finish.

My style is romantic, natural and timeless. True to life imagery, genuine emotion and storytelling that never feels forced. No awkward posing, just intentional and beautiful photographs that reflect who you are. Click to see the amazing ness that unfolded this year in this round up post.

Favourite Moments of the Season

It is always hard to choose just one, but there was a moment this summer that stayed with me. A bride this year dedicated part of her speech to her Mum, sharing how special her relationship was with her. Explaining that on a wedding day there are big moments for Brides and Grooms on their day and the person who is giving them away, or doing readings etc, but she wanted to dedicate her bouquet to her Mum. She delivered it in such a beautiful way, it had everyone emotional.

Another was a lovely couple from this Summer, who had a blended culture wedding of English and Hindu and I got to experience my first Barat – it was incredible, and I will never forget that moment. The energy the vibe the groom brought, and on a heatwave day, they had the most beautiful celebration and it was such a pleasure to document.

So many moments throughout this season reminded me why I absolutely adore capturing the in between moments. They tell the real story.

Top Tips from This Years Weddings

Here are a few things I noticed that made days run beautifully and helped couples feel relaxed and fully themselves:

Take time for just the two of you
Even five minutes together during the day brings you back into the moment. It always leads to the most natural and emotional photographs.

Trust your timeline
A little breathing room makes everything feel calm. Build in space to enjoy each part of your day rather than rushing from one thing to the next.

Choose suppliers you connect with
When you genuinely like your team, everything feels easier. Surround yourself with people who feel supportive and aligned with your vision.

Keep your ceremony unplugged
This small choice made a huge difference this year. Guests were fully present and the photos were more genuine.

Do things your way
Weddings that felt the most magical were the ones that reflected the couple, not trends. Your day is yours. Lean into what feels right for you.

KIND WORDS

Oh Charlotte, these are absolutely STUNNING!!! Oh my goodness, what a wonderful weekend it was – thank you so so much for capturing all these special moments so perfectly. We feel so lucky to have had you as our photographer (and additional coordinator, dress fitter, hairstylist, runner(!) and button hole specialist to boot!) – you’re an absolute superstar

A FEW FAVOURITES FROM THIS YEAR

KIND WORDS

I cannot recommend Charlotte enough. She’s professional, incredibly talented, but also warm and friendly and makes two people who normally feel awkward in front of a camera feel so comfortable. We had our sneak peek photos sent to us the day after the wedding which was incredible. The rest of the photos are stunning and capture our day so perfectly.

As a bride, your wedding day goes by in a complete blur, but Charlotte made sure we had time with our guests and time to ourselves. At one point I’d just managed to sit down with some friends when I was told it was time for the first dance. Charlotte told me she’d tell the band we needed to delay it for 10 minutes and told me to sit with my friends and have a drink. I’ll never forget that! She was so much more than a photographer to me on the day and I’m so grateful to her.

Thank you, Charlotte – you truly are the best, and we’re so grateful for all your support on the day and for making our photos (and our day!) so incredibly special xx
