What to expect from your engagement session…I get it, no one is used to being in front of a camera. People think they are not photogenic, they feel shy in front of a camera.
I can assure you I have no expectations of how I expect you to be in front of the camera. I want to capture you, as you are, and your personality . The most important thing is that you enjoy your time with you and your beau – I am just there to capture it and make sure you have fun.
We will start off by having a wander around the location you have chosen for your shoot. It’s great to have a wander round and a chat and look at potential locations to photograph in. I mainly focus on getting you both to interact with each other, and not pay attention to me and the camera.
I’ll give you scenarios and things to talk about, like ‘what is your favourite memory from your relationship’ or ‘what are you looking forward to most on your wedding day’. What I am looking for is the reaction, how you two are with each other. Whether you a hugging and kissing type of couple, or a couple who like to play around, have a joke and tease – the most important thing is I want to capture you naturally, with a stylish and romantic approach – but it will always stem down to you both being yourselves!
As I have mentioned in previous posts, its a great chance for you both to have a special moment in your lives captured – but also an opportunity for us to get to know each other.
