One of my favourite wedding venues for wedding photography on the South Coast would have to be Compton Acres. It is such a beautiful and unique wedding venue in Dorset. Set in the most incredible location and a stones throw away from the beach, this is many couples ideal wedding venue!
The Italian Villa is located in Sandbanks and is one of the most booked venues in Dorset.

The Italian Villa has 3 levels for all parts of your wedding day. You begin in the beautiful and well lit ceremony room the Medici Suite. You then move onto the Verona Reception Room which lead out into the terrace area which you can take full advantage of for your drinks reception. Lastly you have the the Siena Suite which is the lower floor of the villa which is used for your evening reception.
The villa is based within 10 acres of The Compton Acres gardens and with the golden beaches close by make it a photographers dream to photograph a wedding. There are so many locations to take advantage of on your beautiful wedding day.
The Italian Villa is licensed to hold up to 120 guests for your ceremony and cater for up to 250 people. This makes this venue ideal whether you are planning an intimate wedding, or a larger wedding.
The gardens are stunning and immaculate which make a perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. Then you have the option to head down to the beach which is a couple of minutes away by car, and you can get some amazing wedding portraits on the beach! My ideal kind of location as it gives you a real variety in the wedding photographs you will receive and make the most of the stunning locations on your wedding day.
