When Clair and Lee asked me to photograph their intimate wedding in Southbourne, I literally jumped for joy! I have known Clair for a couple of years and worked with her several times now. She is a local florist and you can see HERE a recent interview I did with her.
I love photographing weddings so much – I genuinely love my job and each wedding is so unique – but when you are asked to photograph a florists wedding, you know its going to be floral heaven! My favourite! If you follow me on Instagram (Follow me @charlottebryerash) you will see I am always photographing and posting pictures of flowers! Secret love I think.
Clair and Lee chose to marry at The Cliff House in Southbourne. The plan had been to head to the clifftops after the ceremony, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side for the day. It would have been lovely to have Clair and Lee gazing over our amazing coastline with Studland in the backgroun, but we made do with the situation we had, and embraced the weather! The umbrellas came out and a quick 5 minute session was all we could do! And if I am completely honest I have fallen in love with the photographs I captured of them under the umbrella – romantic, loving and heartwarming!
They chose to have their wedding reception at The Larderhouse, their favourite local so it was really special to them. I have been to the Larderhouse a couple of times myself for drinks, but haven’t eaten there before. Wow! You need to get there, the food was incredible and the service by the team was unbelievable – genuinely they couldn’t do more for you, they were all so friendly!
It was the cosy, intimate venue perfect to host their day.
Fairy lights, candles, hanging florals, flowers everywhere, it was beautiful, simple and lovely! Clair and Lee, thank you so much for inviting me to capture your special day. Wishing you lots of happiness and love for many years to come.
Much love, Charlotte x
