Personal Branding Photography sessions can be the perfect option for you no matter how long you have been running your business for. But….it is even more perfect when you are literally just starting your business, setting up your brand, your new website and fresh to the social media game!
When Rachel contacted me that she had setup her new business – Wedding and Event Planning, I was so excited to hear about her plans and direction. Rachel had a really clear idea who her ideal, target client was, the messaging behind her business and what she wanted to portray through her work and the subsequent imagery.
As someone who gets nervous having their picture taken, I wasn’t looking forward to seeing a full gallery of my face but I was SO delighted when Charlotte sent my photos through! She captured my brand and my business perfectly and I was so happy with how natural and un-staged the pictures looked. I use Charlotte’s photos weekly across my social channels and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again when I need new personal branding imagery.
For Rachel we were shooting quite a large project which included a Personal Branding Shoot for her new website to showcase herself, through her About Page so her future clients could get to know the face behind the brand and make the personal connection with Rachel – which is so important in a service based business.
Rachel had been working with the lovely Fleurir Creative on her web and brand design – and incredibly brought together the luxury, professional feel that Rachel was wanting to portray to her clients and the wedding planning services she was wanting to offer. She was also designing a beautiful lifestyle blog alongside the new business called The Ivory Book which is just so lovely!
Making sure her personal branding photography was totally on point and could be used across all platforms (and both sides of her business) we both made sure we had a clear idea of what she was wanting to achieve. This was important to make sure Rachel was getting the most out of the shoot, but also out of the use of the images – that can be used over and over again! Amazing right?
We were also making sure she had on-brand photography showcasing her portfolio. Rachel styled and created 2 setups with so many layers to it, which meant we created a large amount of visual content from only 2 setups which can serve her throughout an entire year and can work perfectly for filler imagery too on social media!
Creating imagery to showcase Rachel’s portfolio and style at this stage was gamechanging – it’s effectively a styled shoot of your perfect setups that either serve as inspiration for your future clients, or showcases the type of style and work you would like to do going forward. It means you have full control of the end result, and can really showcase to your future clients what you can achieve!
Before our shoot, Charlotte took the time to get to know me, my business and my intentions for the shoot and helped me decide on a setup and location that would best showcase me and my brand. On the day itself, she completely put my nerves at ease and made me feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Charlotte is professional and efficient whilst being so friendly and approachable – she made the whole shoot so much fun!
In the next post, I will share with you the Personal Branding Photography we did for Rachel’s headshots and also the bespoke styled stock imagery we created for her – again, totally gamechanging when it comes to your social media and online visual presence!!
