And that is it. This years wedding season came to a beautiful close this past Saturday! Finishing with a bang (quite literally…it was bonfire night and the couple organised an insane firework display!) with my final wedding of the year in North Devon at Ash Barton Estate.
What an incredible year 2017 turned out to be! Thank you to everyone who chose me to be their wedding photographer, you have all been incredible, beautiful, kind and welcoming and your wedding days have been full of love and laughter. I am so honoured with the role I play on a wedding day, capturing the moments that happen with family, friends, the hours and effort you have gone to in creating your perfect day. I love it!
This year has taken me far and hundreds of miles around the country. From local weddings in Dorset and Hampshire, to weddings in Oxford, Colchester, Cheshire, Devon and also abroad to the South of France. I have loved every minute of it – seeing amazing new venues, to documenting small intimate affairs in stunning back gardens and working with incredible wedding suppliers!
I have been a little busy over the past couple of months with weddings, editing and travelling and have not been hot on blogging. So over the coming weeks and leading up to the end of the year (I don’t want to use the C word yet….I can’t believe it is almost here and definitely want to get ahead on the present shopping this year!) but I going to be filling these pages with lots wedding gorgeousness from the past couple of months and loads of super helpful articles that will help with all your wedding planning needs and how to make sure you make the most out of your wedding day.
