I used to offer just one package for couples – this was a set amount of hours which you could add optional extras to if you wanted. However, I found so many people asking for custom made packages that I felt it would be better to couple enquiring to offer a couple of different options for their wedding coverage.
Each wedding is different, each couple is different – so this is why I now offer 3 collections.
What works best for you both and your wedding will vary depending on what you are looking for, how many people you have, what you have planned and if you are at several locations throughout the day.
So I wanted to explain the options of coverage I offer and what is usually achievable in those time periods:
5 hours coverage – Ideal for the small, intimate ceremony
For 5 hours coverage you could expect photographs from arrival to the ceremony, the ceremony, the family and group formal photographs and then time for your bridal & groom portraits.
8 hours coverage – The right amount of coverage
For 8 hours coverage you could expect photographs from bridal preparations, arrival to the ceremony, the ceremony, cocktail hour, your bride and groom portraits along with the family and group formals and photographs from your reception and speeches
Depending on your ceremony time and what time you allow for your reception, you may also be able to fit your first dance within this coverage time
10 hour coverage – The all dayer, perfect if you want the full story told
For this coverage you can expect the majority of your day covered! Everything from your bridal preparations and bridal details, groom getting ready photos (depending on location and time. If you would like groom prep definitely covered I would recommend a second shooter) arrival to the ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, bride and groom portraits, family and group formals, your reception and speeches, cake cutting all up until about half an hour after the first dance.
For all the collections I offer, there is the option to add additional hours as I want to as flexible as I can for you. If you are unsure which collection is the best option for you, whether you need more or less hours, always feel free to get in touch and chat with me about what you are looking for from your day.
I look forward to hearing from you and hope you found this article useful.
Much love, Charlotte x
