A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting up with Katie and Ben for their engagement shoot. When I met with them back in 2015 and they booked me to be their wedding photographer, we chatted about the benefits of having an engagement session, how fun they can be and it’s a nice opportunity to take some time out of the wedding planning process and get some lovely natural images of the 2 of you!
Due to some poor weather we had back when the shoot was originally planned for, Katie and Ben asked if they could have their shoot a couple of days before the wedding in the New Forest as they were spending a couple of days beforehand in the local area.
I was super excited when they suggested this location, as I love the New Forest but haven’t had the opportunity to photograph an engagement shoot here. It’s the perfect spot in Hampshire for long walks, picnics and exploring the area. It’s definitely a favourite spot for me, aside from the coast!
Katie and Ben are such a fun and happy couple, and one thing I say is super important is to capture you are as a couple, not how I think you should be. And Katie and Ben did just that! Laughing and joking the entire time we wandered around and I think you will agree from the images, they just look super happy and comfortable with each other!
I hope you love these images as a source of inspiration for your own engagement session! And if you would like to have your photographs in the New Forest, please feel free to get in touch with me here >> CONTACT
Much love, Charlotte

A couple of day before the wedding we got together to capture their New Forest engagement session which you can SEE HERE. […]
