French Destination Wedding

“Love doesn’t make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.” —Franklin P. Jones

You dream of what your wedding could be like. If you love to travel, I could see why having a destination wedding would be very high up on your list of things to consider!

A destination wedding, especially in countries where the weather can be pretty hit and miss, can be a great option to consider.

Especially if you want to take away that worry of a wet UK summer day. That being said, you could be thinking about planning your destination wedding up in the snowy Alps all wrapped up on the side of a mountain. Or planning a wedding on a sunny hot beach with palm trees in the background, or a small, intimate affair in Europe in a small village.

Destination weddings come with a variety of different options and that’s why they can be an amazing alternative for your wedding day. Something different, somewhere that is really special for you, or a dream destination on your bucket list.

If you are planning a destination wedding and inviting your friends and family – it’s a great opportunity to spend more quality time with your guests over a longer event. Destination weddings do become more of an event as usually it lasts a couple of days rather than a typical wedding. Which is anywhere from a couple of hours to 10-12 hours. This can be great way to build an atmosphere in the lead up to the day!

If you are looking to plan a destination wedding and in search for a wedding photographer, please feel free to get in touch! Whilst I am based in Dorset in the UK, I am so honoured to have been contacted by couples who live all over the world to photograph their wedding.

I would love to photograph weddings throughout Europe and further afield. So get in touch, no matter where you are planning your wedding in the world. I would love to talk to you about your plans and offer you a bespoke quote.
