When you have a vision in your head and it totally comes to life!
I contacted Tara, a friend and super talented make up artist, and explained I really wanted to do a low-key pretty beach bridal shoot. Just a model, dress, beautiful makeup and a bouquet. I also had in mind something a little different from what you imagine would be a typical ‘beach bride’. I love the boho beach style, but just wanted to create something for the bride who loves that style, would love some bridal portraits on the beach, but still to have that soft, feminine feel but still beautifully refined and bridal – not necessarily that you have been on the beach for the day, or too boho.
Teaming up with my favs, I knew that finding the perfect dress would bring together the whole shoot. I have known of Emily Victoria White for sometime and to have the opportunity to work with her on one of her beautiful dresses was super exciting! This is the Grace dress – soft tulle, beautiful detailing and a little bit different! Emily creates gowns to accentuate natural beauty, and I am sure you will agree Rachel looks incredible in this gown.
It was super fun to head down to the beach for a couple of hours, enjoy the incredible location and the sunset. I hope you love these images as much as I do and enjoy this beach bridal inspiration shoot.
