Parley Manor Wedding
Hannah and Nathan’s wedding day was just beautiful! It was my first time shooting at Parley Manor, a gorgeous Georgian Manor house tucked away in Dorset and I was so excited when Hannah contacted me to say that they were planning a really relaxed, rustic wedding and were looking for a photographer to take natural photographs throughout the day.

The day itself was so so beautiful, the sun was shining and ooo it was hot! The whole wedding was so relaxed and the perfect vibe that reflected Hannah and Nathan as a couple.

When we first met over coffee it was so clear to see how cute these two were together! When Hannah said how much she hated having her photograph taken, I assured her it wasn’t about having her photograph taken. It was about them both enjoying every moment of their day with each other, with family, friends and I would be there just to document it.

I would say most of the couples I work with hate having their picture taken, but very rarely will I ask you to directly look at my camera! It is about the moment you are in, the connection you have with the people you love the most and have chosen to spend your day with, that is what I want to capture for you.

We had lots of time throughout the day, Hannah planned it perfectly, that they also had lots of time to spend mingling with their guests, have photographs with their family and enough time to get photographs of the two of them. I always recommend splitting this up into two sections, one during your drinks reception and again (weather dependant) after your meal. This is such a great time of day to come and get some relaxed photos. You’ve had a drink or two, had some food and now the speeches out of the way, so you’ll be feeling relaxed and more chilled by this point.

We headed out for a little stroll around the grounds at Parley, which is so gorgeous, with the house as the backdrop and so many beautiful spots in the gardens and with that lovely warm summers evening light.

Hannah even did a bouquet throw, which was so good! Not many brides do this anymore as they don’t want to ruin their bouquet, however Hannah grabbed a bridesmaid bouquet and launched that instead. It made for some great photos with her girl friends – they seriously committed to it, many literally jumping for it!

So here are a few photographs from the day for you to enjoy from their gorgeous day. Hannah and Nathan thank you so much for having me as your photographer and to capture your special celebrations!

Thank you sooo much for these!! We love them all.

We’ve waited to use one for our thank you card and we just can’t choose which one cause we have so many favourites! We can’t wait to go back to Woking and show all our families.

You was such a gem on the day, you know how much I hate my photo being taken but you made us feel so relaxed and helped the day go so smoothly.

Thank you so much again!!
