When I received Charley’s email she was stressed from the process of trying to find a Salisbury wedding photographer. It makes me so sad to hear when brides are feeling stressed or frustrated by the process of trying to find the perfect suppliers and vendors to hire for their wedding day. When I met with Charley and Paul, and their sweet daughter Darcey, I knew I would absolutely love capturing their wedding day.
Charley and Paul were married in front of their loved ones at Leaden Hall School, a private girls school situated a couple of minutes walk from Salisbury cathedral. This was the perfect location for their wedding, to host their ceremony outside and then they had use of the conservatory for their wedding reception.
Each wedding is unique and individual. That’s one of the many reasons why I love my job and the couples I get to meet. Charley was unsure if her wedding day would be something I would want to capture. But when she said they were having an boho outdoor wedding, with their closest friends and family, in the grounds of a small school next to Salisbury Cathedral, I was definitely not going to turn it down.
Simply styled. A boho bride with gorgeous tousled hair and a flower crown I wanted to take home with me. The cutest little flower girl and the prettiest bridesmaids. All their guest were lovely and their was a loving, fun feel to the day. I hope you enjoy looking through the photographs from their lovely summer wedding. Charley and Paul it was an absolute pleasure to capture your wedding day and was lovely getting to know you both!
Keep an eye out for future posts about how to deal with the overwhelm of searching for a wedding photographer, if your feeling nervous about having your picture taken, and how to get passed this to feel confident and beautiful on your special day.
Much love, Charlotte
